Who Are Openica Logistics?
Openica is an established, all-Australian family interstate transport business, with many years experience in delivering reliable interstate vehicle transport services.
What Insurance Is Available For Interstate Freight Transport?
Openica Logistics does not provide insurance cover for cargo in transit. You will need to make insurance arrangements yourself.
Will My Vehicle Be Driven?
Yes, our driver will drive the vehicle on and off a carrier. Vehicles need to be fuelled with a charged battery to enable this to occur. (Please speak to our interstate transport customer service team about non-drivable vehicles.)
Does My Freight Need To Be Registered?
Openica Logistics transports many new freight items interstate, so your freight does not need to be registered for transport. At the time of booking interstate transport, the last six digits of the freights VIN will need to be provided for ID purposes.
What Items Can Be Carried In Vehicles During Interstate Transport?
Unlike many interstate vehicle transport services, we do allow you to carry goods in your vehicle providing they are in the boot and out of sight.
Please Note: These items are transported at your own risk.
What Needs To Be Removed From Vehicles For Interstate Transport?
Remove or tuck away the following: Antennaes, Roof Racks, Side Mirrors, Radio Faceplates, and other vehicle speciality items, such as Spoilers.
What Is Door-To-Door Interstate Freight Delivery?
Door-to-door interstate freight transport means that Openica will deliver as close as possible to you. (In some towns, large trucks may be prohibited from entering residential areas or environmental factors, such as narrow streets, tight turns or low bridges may impede delivery or truck maneuverability).
Where Are Openica Logistics Depots Located?

Who Receives The Freight When It Arrives Interstate?
You will need to have a person or agent available to accept the freight upon delivery so that the freight can be inspected and the consignment note signed. You can choose a transport depot drop-off until someone is ready to accept the freight. Additional fees apply for this service.
How Much Book Time Is Needed?
To avoid scheduling disappointment, you should book at least 1 to 3 weeks in advance to your preferred vehicle pick-up date. Please Note: Openica Logistics does not guarantee transport dates.
When Will My Freight Be Picked Up?
Openica prefers a three-day window. In some cases, people need their freight collected same day. Openica tries to accommodate this wherever possible. Additional charges apply for this service.
